CA CPT RESULT December 2016,CPT RESULT 2016:-
ICAI which conducts the exams of prestigious Chartered Accountancy Course, was setup under the Chartered Accountancy Act 1956. ICAI is a statutory body, established by act passed in Indian Parliament . ICAI conducts its foundation course for Chartered accountancy course also known as CPT (Common proficiency course) two times in a year – in June and December. Similarly this year ICAI conducted CA CPT December exam 2016. The candidates passing out this difficult exam are around 26% only according to the last exam statistics.
ICAI conducted the CPT December 2016 exam on. The students who appeared for the CPT exam were around 1 lakh, and after the exam some were overjoyed but some students were depressed after attempting the CPT exam. Whatever the case may be the students enjoyed the 1 month break before IPCC.
Passing Criteria for CPT Exam Result 2016.
From December 2014 on wards ICAI has revised its passing scheme for CPT exams. Previously candidates were declared passed if they get aggregate 50 percent marks out of total marks irrespective of the marks scored in individual subjects. However now according to new scheme of ICAI a student is declared pass if he scores 30 percent in each individual subjects along with scoring a minimum 50 percent marks in total.
So if a student gets 100/200 however he was not able to get a minimum 30 percent in a individual subject then he will be declared fail even though he scored 50 percent aggregate but however do not fulfill the 30 percent condition.
Pass Percentage of CPT Exam.
Each year CPT pass percentage fluctuates, it was around 26% only in the previous exam held in December. So only 26 students were able to clear the CPT exam from 100 students. As always the girls dominated the CPT exam results with higher pass percentage then the boys.
So when ICAI actually declares the CPT Result 2016 ?
The CA CPT Result 2016 for month of June will be declared exactly after one month according to ICAI’s policy. ICAI has now officially announced that the CPT Result for Dec 2016 will be announced today, keep checking here for regular updates for CPT Results.

This year ICAI followed the same schedule for IPCC examinations, unlike previous year where examinations were conducted in June due to General examinations. However this time the IPC Course was lengthy due to introduction of expansion of Tax subjects where few topics were added. However May exams were conducted following the previous exams.

ICAI recommends students to have positive approach towards their studies and one must grasp the concepts instead of using different books.
